Vagdevi Vilas College, Halasahalli celebrated its ‘Third Annual Day Programme’ on 18th January 2019 themed ‘Bhavya Bharata – Divya Samskriti’ with great zeal and zest.
The function commenced with ‘Lighting of Lamp’ by the dignitaries. The Programme head started by the melodious rendition of devotional invocation song .
The Chairman -Vagdevi Vilas Institutions , Shri. K Harish , formally welcomed and introduced the Chief guest – Honourable Dr. Venugopal K. R, Vice- Chancellor- Bangalore University to the gathering.
The presentation of Annual report by the Principal was unequivocal. The Annual Report was followed by the inspirational address by the chief guest.He motivated the audience by citing various personal experiences which mandered through his life, highlighting the fundamental requisite of hard work and confidence .The truth ‘Life is not a bed of roses’ was reached out to the young minds through his words.
Prize distribution ceremony for students was followed. The winners were graced with medals and certificates . The Cultural Events -the highlight of the Annual Day proceeded , which showcased scintillating and dazzling performances presented by the students .
